This screen has changed my life! I have two big dogs, about 85 lbs each. One is 11, a mix, and the other is a very active 1 year old lab. My kids and I were constant letting them in and out of the back door to our fenced in yard- picture 5-10 times an hour that they’d scratch at the door, go out, and want to come right back in. Bugs would get in half the time we opened the door. This screen took 10 minutes to put up, the magnetic closure works perfectly. Took about 10 minutes for the dogs to figure out how to go through and they love it! Also holds up to my 3 teens and their friends going through all the time. Seriously great product. I’d definitely advise using the tacks that are included in the kit if you have big dogs- it really helps keep it in place.

Granted my review is from 1 day of use, I am pleased with how easy this was to hang on our metal exterior door frame. I was looking for a way to periodically vent our garage without letting bugs in. You can see there is a little gap at the bottom, but hopefully not many will find their way in. Our dog figured it out right away.

This screen is SUPER EASY to install. Make sure you measure the opening you wish to cover; the one I ordered fit perfectly to my measurements. I cleaned the painted wood trim with glass cleaner and let it air dry for ten minutes, then followed the instructions (which are clearly written in English). IF you have difficulty gettin the Velcro to adhere to your surface, all is not lost. It appears that the tape supplied can be replaced with many which are commercially available here on Amazon, or at any big box hardware store. Also, if you prefer to use use the supplied tacks, but want stronger ones, any office supply should have heavier thumbtacks which will work.
As to tools you will need:
1. Measuring tape (prior to ordering).
2. Your favorite cleaner and a rag.
3. Scissors to cut the Velcro tape.
4. A small hammer to set the thumbtacks, if desired (I used a nylon mallet, to prevent damage to the tacks or my door trim).
The entire project, from opening the package through writing this review, took less than 40 minutes, including waiting for the surface to dry.
